Damron Corporation was founded in December, 1984. The sole objective of its founder, Ronald E. Damper, was to manufacture the finest blends of teas at a competitive price. In 1985, McDonald's Corporation selected DAMRON as one of its approved suppliers. By late 1988, DAMRON, a 100% minority-owned and operated manufacturer, achieved the status of becoming the sole supplier of tea to all nationwide McDonald's restaurants. Mr. Damper is a member of the prestigious Tea Association of the U.S.A.

The company has developed a commercial foodservice and retail line under the HARVEST DELIGHT^® brand name. These "superbly blended, delightfully good" beverages are suited for mass appeal as well as consumers with more discriminating and exotic tastes.

The company is located in a 50,000 square facility on Chicago's West Side. The plant is equipped with modern packaging machinery, capable of providing single-serve or custom-sized hot and cold beverages.
